Sophomore wide receiver Forest Fajardo was named SCFA Player of the Week for his performance in the Pasadena City College football's team 42-24 win at LA Harbor College on November 3.

Fajardo, from Burbank High, impressed with his two-way efforts as he made four catches for 44 yards and a 28-yard TD reception while also leading the Lancers defense as a cornerback with five tackles (four solos) and two pass breakups.

Fajardo is the fifth Lancer this season to get the conference award joining a group of quarterback Mario Bobadilla, running back Sultaan Sullivan, wide receiver/returner David Telles, and lineman David Vardanian.

The letterman is the team leader in touchdowns this season with eight. He has 65 career receptions, currently No. 13 on the Lancers All-Time Receiving List. He needs four more catches to enter the top 10.

Fajardo closes out his PCC career this Saturday, Nov. 10 when Pasadena plays at Santa Barbara City College in a 1 p.m. American Pacific League kickoff. PCC is 3-6 this season and 1-3 in the league.
