Lancers Men's Basketball Alum McKay Anderson Now At USC

McKay Anderson, an All-South Coast Conference First Team selection from the 2016-17 Pasadena City College men's basketball team, is currently a Trojan, playing for USC as a walk-on junior guard during the '18-19 season.

In his one season at PCC, the 6-foot-5, 190-pound Anderson averaged 18.8 points and nine rebounds per game, while making 51.9 percent of his shots from the field. He led the Lancers in scoring and rebounding.

It's been a basketball odyssey for the 24-year-old Anderson, who began his collegiate career as a freshman at Southern Utah University in 2013-14. He then completed a Mormon mission and decided to transfer back to his place of birth--Pasadena and play for PCC in 2016. Anderson was a 2-time, All-CIF player at La Verne Lutheran High.

He is majoring in International Relations Global Business at USC, with a minor in Mandarin Chinese. Anderson is in the Army Reserve Officer Training Corps at the university.
