Sophomore Samuel Jo and freshman Roman Rostomyan led the way with three event victories each. Jo won the 100-yard backstroke (54.08), the 500 freestyle (4:47.77), and 200 individual medley (2:01.57). Rostomyan recorded first place finishes in the 200 freestyle (1:47.34), 50 freestyle (22.24), and 100 butterfly (52.12).

Sydney Odent settled for second places in the 200 freestyle (1:54.48), 100 backstroke (1:00.90) and 500 freestyle (4:49.96).

The Lancers won both the 200 medley relay (Jo, Mario Castanon, Rostomyan and Sevada Avanessian, 1:44 flat) and 400 freestyle relay (Castanon, Hunt, Sebastian Youngblood and Jacob Sanchez, 3:44.65). The team of Avanessian, Odent, Wilia and Jo swam a relay best 3:32.45, but swam as an exhibition group.

Other second places were turned in by Lance Shoaf (1,000 freestyle, 15:24.59), Castanon (100. 1:06.09, and 200 breaststroke, 2:27.65), and Youngblood (100 freestyle, 55.61).

"We're in a great position now to go undefeated in conference duals," said PCC head coach Terry Stoddard. "We have had some setbacks in terms of having our best swimmers available in certain events due to injuries, but it seems that the versatility of our guys allows us to fill in the gaps and not be hurt point-wise."

This Friday, March 30, the Lancers hope to complete a perfect conference dual season when they take on LA Trade Tech and host Cerritos Colleges. Meet time is 12:30 p.m.
