It couldn't get much closer, but the Pasadena City College men's swim team kept its South Coast Conference dual meet winning streak going at 13 with a slim 139-132 win over El Camino while also defeating host Rio Hondo, 178-92, on Friday. The streak dates back to the 2017 season.

With El Camino winning six events and diving points (PCC has no diver), Tu's second place finishes in the 1,000 freestyle (10:48.95) and 100 backstroke (59.68), and other runner-up touches by Castanon in the 100 (1:04.80) and 200 breaststrokes (2:23.71), Grayson Wade in the 200 butterfly (2:18.03), Bilaver in the 100 freestyle (50.53), and Jeffrey Kha in the 100 butterfly (57.50) all were instrumental in helping the team get by El Camino.

The Lancers will swim at their home pool--PCC Aquatic Center--for the first time this season when they host a SCC double dual against Cerritos and LA Trade Tech Colleges on Friday, March 22 at 12:30 p.m
