A streak that started in 2017 is over for the Pasadena City College men's swim team. The Lancers saw their 15-meet winning streak in South Coast Conference duals come to an end Friday as Mt. San Antonio defeated them, 230-48, to win the 2019 SCC dual title at PCC's Aquatic Center.

Both teams had come into the meet tied for first with 6-0 marks. But the Mounties were just too strong, going a perfect 15-0 to win every event. PCC settled for second place in only seven events with top swimmer Harrison Tin runner-up to Mt. SAC swimmers in the 100 and 200-yard breaststrokes and the 200 individual medley. Tin lost a close one to Jason Harary in the 100 breaststroke by just .24 of a second (59.16 to 59.40). Tin swam 2:14.06 in the 200 breaststroke, but not enough to catch up to Ryan Lin at 2:11 flat. In the 200 IM, a third Mountie beat Tin in William Ku. Tin hit the wall at 2:05.37 but Ku was a little better with a winning time of 2:04.30.

Michael Humphrey grabbed seconds in the 100 (54.31) and 200 butterfly (2:03.74) events. The Lancers 200 medley relay of Grayson Wade, Tin, Humphrey and Mathew Bilaver swam a great race (1:40.28), but also was beaten in the end by Mt. SAC's 1:39.68 mark. PCC closed the meet with another second in the 400 freestyle relay.

The Lancers will host the 19th Pasadena Invitational April 4-6 at the Aquatic Center.
