The last time the Pasadena City College men's track and field team performed at a home meet at Robinson Stadium was pre-pandemic February of 2020. On Friday, the Lancers finally returned to action in an on-campus meet in hosting the Pasadena Relays.

While most of the Lancers marks were not among the top marks in the South Coast Conference this season, there were a few standout performances. One was turned in by Le'Raun Peron, who tied for first in the high jump with a modest leap of 4-foot-9.75 inches. 

Here were other higher placings by Lancers athletes:

Matthew Karapetyan won heat #5 out of six heats in the 100 meters in 11.55 seconds. He finished 24th overall and 13th among California Community College racers at the meet. He was 18th in the 200 meters (23.72).

Hunter Davis scored fifth in the 400 meters (53.13), Roux Adalin was seventh (54.11) and Angel Tolentin placed ninth (54.80).

Ronnie Winn finished sixth in the 800 (2:08.99) while Johnathan Macali took eighth (2:15.79). 

Etienne Deleage scored second in the 3,000 meters (10:50.43) and placed sixth in the 1,500 in 4:57.78.

The 4x100 relay squad of Davis, Tolentin, Adalin, and Karapetyan finished fourth in 45.39 while the 4x400 relay of Davis, Adalin, Tolentin, Michael Bartle scored sixth in 3:40.75.

Thai Ho placed ninth in the shot put at 29-8.25.

Among the colleges competing with PCC were College of the Canyons, Antelope Valley, Long Beach City, Compton, East Los Angeles, West Los Angeles, and San Bernardino Valley.
