Men's Cross Country 11th At Brubaker Invitational

The Pasadena City College men's cross country team placed 11th out of 14 teams Friday at the Brubaker Invitational meet held at Irvine Regional Park. Dylan Che was once again the Lancers top runner, placing 38th out of 153 racers overall.

Che ran a time of 22 minutes, 14.2 seconds over the 4-mile course. Giovanni Guajardo crossed the line in 56th (22:38.3) as the next fastest PCC harrier. Jose Campos ran a 22:56.4 for 66th as three Lancers finished in the top half of the competition. 

William Su placed 84th (23:34) and Trevor Abe 112th (24:58.6) for the final two scoring runners. Also racing for PCC were Julio Aguilar (120th, 25:57.8), Jacob Reyes (128th, 26:36.5), and Izaq Davolt 143rd (30:58.3). 

Mt. San Antonio, which had six of the top 10 runners, won the team race and the individual winner was the Mounties' Salvador Capetillo at 20:03.8.

PCC is expected to race again next Friday, Oct. 12 at the Mt. SAC Invitational.
