A Winn For PCC Men's Cross Country Team As It Qualfies For SoCal Championships

Ronnie Winn placed a squad-high 20th overall as the Pasadena City College men's cross country team placed sixth at the South Coast Conference Championships held at Compton's Wilson Park on October 29. The Lancers season continues on Friday, Nov. 5 when they participate at the Southern California Championships held at Mile Square Park in Fountain Valley.

Winn had only been PCC's top runner prior to the SCC meet when he was 27th and team's top harrier at the season-opening Moorpark Invitational. 

At the conference finals, Winn ran a time of 22 minutes, 40 seconds over the 4-mile course. Other PCC scoring runners were Philycius Oey in 27th (22:55.9), Etienne Deleage in 39th (23:57.9), and Roux Alaka'i Adalin in 48th (24:52.4). Sam Regan (66th, 28:17) and Edwin Garcia (68th, 28:55.3) also took part in the SCC race.
