Michael Petersen placed 12th overall in the 100-yard breaststroke event, allowing the Pasadena City College men's team to score team points at the 3C2A State Swimming and Diving Championships held May 2-4 at Orange Coast College.
The Pasadena City College men's and women's swim teams posted several 2024 best times at the South Coast Conference Championships held April 18-20 at Mt. San Antonio College.
Michael Petersen won the 100-yard breaststroke event as the Pasadena City College men's swim team earned fourth place at the annual ELAC/PCC Invitational held April 5-6. The invite was once again hosted at East Los Angeles College's Swim Stadium.
The Pasadena City College swim teams concluded the South Coast Conference dual meet portion of the schedule with a home meet at Pasadena Poly on Friday. The Lancers women lost v. El Camino, 157-52 and against East Los Angeles, 162-52. The men lost its solo dual to ECC, 189-41.
The Pasadena City College men's swim team defeated host Rio Hondo, 106-30, and lost to Long Beach City, 210-41 while the Lancers women were edged by the Roadrunners, 77.5-76.5, and defeated by the Vikings, 222-20 in a South Coast Conference double dual meet on Friday.
