Kessa Rychlick placed third in both the 200 meters and 100 hurdles while grabbing fourth in the 100 to highlight the Pasadena City College women's track and field team's performances at the Bakersfield Relays held March 17.

Rychlick's 17.14 time in the hurdles was her season-best mark in that event, now 30th overall in the state. She ran 13.81 in the 100 and 27.83 in the 200.

Alexandria Constanzo finished third in the pole vault (8-6.25 feet) and was sixth in the long jump (13-7.5).

While Julia Reyes took second place overall in the 1,500 meters, her 5:28.24 time did not crack the state top 50 rankings. However, at the Occidental Distance Carnival on March 10, Reyes ran a 2:38.63 (47th overall) in the 800 meters and that mark is now 16th in the state. At Bakersfield, Abigail Olivares was seventh in the 400 meters (1:09.67) and eighth in the 200 (29.29).

Constanzo remains 16th overall in the state in the pole vault with her 9-6.25 mark at the Cerritos Opener meet on February 23.

Coach Innocent Egbunike's Lancers return to action on April 6 when they perform at the Arnie Robinson Twilight Invitational held at San Diego Mesa College.
