Women's Track/Field Places 5th At SCC Championships

The Pasadena City College women's track and field team scored just 19 points and placed fifth out of six scoring teams at the 2018 South Coast Conference Championships held April 27 at El Camino College.

Alexandria Constanzo had the highest finish of any Lancer with a fifth place in the pole vault at 9 feet, 0.25 inches. She jumped her season-best 9-7 (20th in state) at the April 13 Santa Barbara Easter Open. Julia Reyes took sixth in the 800 meters at 2:39.48 and placed eighth in the 1,500 (5:26.74). Kessa Rychlick also was sixth place in the 400 hurdles at 1:07.44. PCC's two relays were last in their events but picked up eight team points for fifth place.

Cerritos again was the SCC team champion. PCC was 11 points behind fourth place Long Beach City (30 points).
