Four Lancers Named To All-SCC Women's Water Polo 1st/2nd Teams

The Pasadena City College women's water polo team used its fourth place finish this year at the conference tournament to earn four selections on the 32-player, All-South Coast Conference First and Second Teams.

Goalie Jackie Collier, a freshman from Arcadia High, and sophomore center-forward Fernanda Alvarez, from Pasadena High, both were chosen to the First Team while freshman attacker Chloe O'Connor (Arcadia) and frosh center forward Lori Nalbandian (Pasadena HS) were picked Second Team.

Collier made 176 saves with a .530 goalie save percentage while Alvarez led the Lancers in scoring with 61 goals and 24 assists. O'Connor added 45 goals and 23 assists while Nalbandian was a strong defensive player with 21 steals.

Honorable mentions for the Lancers were goalie Erin Coad and attackers Carolina Lopez and Marissa Lopez (no relation). 

PCC is directed by head coach Terry Stoddard, who concluded his 21st season as the only head coach in PCC WWP's history.
