Chang initially worked for PCC as a student assistant during the 2014 football season. He went on to transfer to the University of Arizona where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in psychology. At UofA, he was a student manager for the football team from the 2015-2019. During the 2016-18 seasons, he helped assist with the the defensive line. He also assisted with the Wildcats’ volleyball team in 2015-2016.

 

In 2019, Chang worked as a video scout for Sports Info Solutions where he contributed multiple NFL scouting reports to The SIS Football Rookie Handbook.

 

Chang attended San Marino High where he was a two-year letterman in football and track and field.
