Sophomore point guard London Benford and frosh shooting guard Rasheet Wilson were the Pasadena City College selections on the 11-player, 2019-2020 All-South Coast Conference Men's Basketball Team.

Benford, a local Pasadena product, was often asked to play 40 minutes a game and he added strong defense and calm leadership for the Lancers while averaging 7 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 2.9 steals per game. Benford made 52 of 58 free throws this season for an outstanding 90 percent efficiency.

Wilson, a freshman from Atlantic Community High in Palm Beach, Florida, was PCC's leading scorer at 15.7 points a game. He added a 2.6 assists average. The acrobatic Wilson also was a terrific free throw shooter, making 113 of 144 attempts for a 78.5 percent accuracy. He was second on the squad in 3-point shooting with 46 treys (team-best 39 percent proficiency). Six times, he reached 20 or more points and he scored a team-season high 39 points in a Jan. 31 loss to LA Trade Tech. He also scored 34 points in a win over Bakersfield when he tied a PCC single-game record for free throw accuracy, making all 11 of his shots from the line.

Earning an All-SCC honorable mention was sophomore transfer guard Dominick Erby (McCluer North High, St. Louis, Missouri). Erby appeared in 18 games and averaged 8.7 points, 4.1 assists and 1.6 steals per game. Like the other two Lancers, Erby was excellent at the free throw line, making 72 of 92 shots for a 78.3 shooting percentage.

The Lancers, who finished 14-14 overall and tied for second in the SCC North Division at 5-3, were directed again by head coach Michael Swanegan, who finished his 13th season at PCC.
