Flowers Named 2022 All-SCC Men's Basketball

Pasadena City College freshman guard Jordan Flowers made it to the 11-player, 2022 All-South Coast Conference North Division men's basketball team.

Flowers averaged 14.9 points per game, led the team at a 3.3 assists average, topped the squad in free throw accuracy (77 percent), and averaged 2 steals a game. The 6-2 guard also topped all Lancers with 69 made baskets from 3-point range and 131 total field goals. He scored a high of 33 points v. Oxnard. Flowers played at Highley High in Arizona and is originally from Detroit, Mi. 

Frosh guard Devan Ford, who led the team in scoring with a 17.8 points-per-game, steals (2.3) and blocks (1.3), and guard Brandon Torimaru, who started in a team-high 24 contests, averaging 8.6 points and 1.9 steals, were chosen as All-SCC honorable mentions. 

The Lancers finished in last place in the SCC (0-8) and finished 1-26 overall.
