    Adam Ure, a 2-year letterman as a defender, became the fifth player from the 2019 Pasadena City College men's soccer team to make a 4-year university commitment. Ure is headed to NCAA Division II Dominican University of California, located in San Rafael (near San Francisco).

    The very first and possibly last South Coast Conference Championship Tournament was a chance for the Pasadena City College men's soccer team to shine. The #7-seeded Lancers once again gave #2 seed Cerritos a battle in a 1-1 road tie that went the Falcons way on penalty kicks and then won the fifth place game in dramatic fashion with a last-second goal in a 2-1 win over Rio Hondo Friday at tourney host El Camino College.

    The Pasadena City College men's soccer team kept the pressure on for 90 minutes and when it was over the Lancers had totaled an amazing 57 shots in a 7-0, non-conference victory over short-handed Imperial Valley on Thursday afternoon. The seven scores were the most by a PCC team in 16 years.

San Antonio, rated #2 on the sports information state poll but #1 in the RPI state ratings, looked like it in a 5-2 win over the Lancers at Robinson Stadium.

It certainly did on Tuesday as the Pasadena City College men's soccer team kept the ball frequently on the Long Beach City College side of the field, outshooting the Vikings, 29-8, in a 3-0 victory at Robinson Stadium. It was the Lancers home opener and first time in action on the school's new artificial turf surface, now at regulation size for the sport.

    The Pasadena City College men's soccer team showed some of the quick-strike offensive prowess that head coach Gerry Mora said his Lancers would show this season in a sterling, 4-0 victory at Moorpark on Friday. Both Favian Esparza and Carlos Navarro scored a goal and an assist as PCC improved to 1-1.
