With one top swimmer suddenly unavailable due to an injury minutes before the meet, the Pasadena City College men's swim team didn't miss a beat, extending the program's South Coast Conference dual meet streak to 15 consecutive wins in defeating Cerritos, 141-102, and LA Trade Tech, 183-20, Friday at the Aquatic Center.

Coach Terry Stoddard's Lancers are 6-0 this season with one more meet to go against a formidable opponent in Mt. San Antonio (next Friday, March 29 at PCC, 12:30 p.m.).

Although Michael Humphrey was hurt due to an undisclosed injury, Pasadena scored nine event victories, including three by Harrison Tin, who took first place in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:00.55), 100 freestyle (50.17), and the 200 individual medley (2:11.42), and two by Grayson Wade, who won the 200 freestyle (1:57.64) and 200 backstroke (2:17.43). Winning one event each were Jeffrey Kha in the 200 butterfly (2:15.89), Mario Castanon in the 200 breaststroke (2:20.22), and Brandon Tu in the 500 freestyle (5:14.86). Wade, Tin, Kha, and Mathew Bilaver also picked up a win in the 200 medley relay in 1:43.54. 

Coach Stoddard recently added two new swimmers to the Lancers in freshmen Aaron Argenal (Edgewood High) and Anthony Hilario (San Leandro HS). Both swam in the meet.

Cerritos had a strong performance by Rodrigo Baca, who won three events including the 100 backstroke, 50 freestyle, and and 100 butterfly. Bilaver nearly caught Baca at the wall, but settled for second in the 50 free at 22.78.
