Four Women's Soccer Players Recognized All-SCC

Led by 2-time, First Team selection Katy Coats, the Pasadena City College women's soccer team placed four players on the 2019 All-South Coast Conference Team.

Coats, a midfielder-forward from Maranatha High, led the SCC in scoring with 31 goals and points with 73. Letterman midfielder Erica Perez (Marshall Fundamental) also was chosen to the First Team. Perez scored a goal and added 10 assists, trailing only Coats (11 helpers)  for the team lead. Coats finished the season as state's second-leading goals and second-leading points scorer.

Making the All-SCC Second Team were sophomore midfielder/defender Jillian Demasi (three goals, two assists, Arcadia High) and midfielder/forward Montserrat Menendez (Eagle Rock High), who totaled six assists.

The Lancers players were guided by head coach Francisco Cantero.
