Pasadena CIty College freshman Bay Hollinger used a 5-foot, 3-inch leap to win the high jump and become the first Lancers women's track and field athlete to win a South Coast Conference title since 2014. Hollinger helped PCC place fifth as a team at the SCC Championships held April 19 and 23 at El Camino College.

Hollinger, a 5-foot-10 product of Temple City High, is the first SCC champ from PCC since 2-time, Paralympic gold medalist Breanna Clark won the 400 meters at the '14 conference finals meet. Hollinger also is the first Lancer field athlete to win a conference event since Essence Wyatt won the triple jump in 2007.

Hollinger earned 10 team points as PCC tallied 38 overall. Mt. San Antonio won the conference team championship with 304 points. Hollinger is now in contention for a state title as her jump is now tied for second in the state. The current leader is Mt. SAC's Aaliyah Mendoza, who has a state-best
