With just 13 goals in its last four games, the Pasadena City College women's water polo team will try to boost its offensive output in the coming weeks. The Lancers lost at Mt. San Antonio, 12-4, on Wednesday and dropped to 2-5 overall and 1-2 in South Coast Conference play.

Fernanda Alvarez scored all four PCC goals as she has nearly half of the team's goals this season (21 out of 44). Mt. SAC (6-4, 2-0 in the SCC) jumped out to a 11-3 lead after two quarters and both teams defenses limited the scoring in the second half.

Jackie Collier, who has been in a tandem as a goalie with Erin Coad, leads the team in both steals (13) and saves (30). Chloe O'Connor has 13 goals and tops the squad in assists with eight.

Coach Terry Stoddard's Lancers will play at the San Diego Classic Tournament (at SD Miramar College) on Friday, Oct. 4. PCC faces San Diego Mesa at 10:20 a.m. and Sierra at 5:20 p.m.
