Men's Track And Field Update

Pasadena City College men's track and field sophomore Thai Ho is now #7 in the South Coast Conference in the javelin throw due to a season-best, 148-foot, 6-inch toss at the Cal State Los Angeles Invitational on Mar. 15.

Ho placed second overall at the event while teammate Frank Macias took third on a 145-8 throw. Macias is now ninth among SCC throwers.

Other top 10 finishers at the CSULA meet were Kai Sebastian's fifth in the long jump at 20-2.5, Youssef Cherqaoui taking sixth in the 1,500 meters at 4:17.80 and ninth in the 800 meters at 2:07.62, Winsor Harmon (ninth) in the 400 meters at 52.06 seconds, and Jaime Loera (seventh) in the 3,000 meters in 10:33.74.

Additionally, Jaden Pena placed fifth in the discus (103-1), Ridge Lalau eighth in the same event (94-9), and Eric Nguyen (ninth) in the pole vault at 10 feet even.

The Lancers next participate in the El Camino College Dave Shannon Invitational on Saturday, Mar. 30.
