Jaimie Harris launched a pair of home runs as the Pasadena City College softball team mercied visiting San Bernardino Valley, 9-1, in five innings on Wednesday at Robinson Park.

Harris, who batted 3-for-4 in Tuesday's 11-2, South Coast Conference home loss v. state #1-ranked Mt. San Antonio, became the first Lancer in seven years to hit two round-trippers in a game. On April 9, 2015, Justine Zavala blasted two HRs and had seven RBI in a rare, mercy win over host Mt. San Antonio. The last Lancer to leave the yard twice in a game at Robinson Park was in March of the same year when Holly Riker-Sloan did it in a win over Long Beach City.

In the bottom of the first, Harris hit a 2-run bomb over the centerfield fence for a 2-1 Lancers lead. Harris led off the bottom of the third with another deep drive to center and that started a 6-run inning for PCC. Catcher Alyssa Ceballos added a 2-run single and rightfielder Mika Ibarra delivered an RBI single in a frame where 13 Lancers batters were sent to the plate.

Leftfielder Kimberly Dea, who was 2-for-3, stole two of the team's season-high six bases.

Kiley Kraft improved to 6-3 in the circle by allowing just four hits over the complete-game, five innings, walking none and striking out four. At one point, she retired eight straight Wolverines batters.

PCC (7-20 overall) will play two games in a mini tourney at Ventura College on Saturday, April 2. The Lancers face Santa Barbara City College at 10 a.m., then meet host Ventura at 12 noon.
