Kiley Kraft, an All-South Coast Conference Second Team pitcher this past season for the Pasadena City College softball team, has decided to attend and continue her playing career at NCAA Division III Whittier College.

Kraft, who attended Ramona Convent Secondary School in Alhambra before joining the Lancers family in 2022, was fifth in the conference in ERA at 1.98 and led PCC with an 11-7 pitching record in a team-high 109.2 innings.

She was an All-SCC honorable mention as a freshman when she also led the PCC pitching staff in victories (12), ERA (3.13), innings pitched (125.1) and strikeouts with 56.

Overall, Kraft recorded 23 victories in the circle and 21 complete games. Her career WHIP (walks and hits per innings pitched ratio) was 1.31 while her control was equally strong, walking just 1.43 batters per seven innings.

Kraft played her two seasons under recently retired head coach Monica Tantlinger and worked with retired pitching coach Stephanie Marshall. Audriana Gutierrez, an associate head coach for the '23 Lancers, has since taken over as PCC head coach.

Kraft will pitch for Whittier head coach Trisha Senyo as a junior for the 2024 Poets.
