PCC Goalie Gloria Gray Makes All-SCC Women's Water Polo First Team

Freshman Gloria Gray was Pasadena City College's First Team selection on the 2022 All-South Coast Conference Women's Water Polo Team. Teammates Mia Hernandez and Marina Schulz were chosen to the Second Team.

Gray, from South Pasadena High, totaled 127 saves in 15 games and led the Lancers in steals with 24. Gray had five contests where she made 11 or more saves, including a '22 high of 17 blocks in the team's only home game played at Poly High in Pasadena. 

Hernandez, a sophomore center out of Arcadia High, led the Lancers in goals with 25 (plus 11 assists and 18 steals) while Schulz, also a letterman center who originally attended Santa Barbara HS, scored eight goals and led PCC in assists with 18. 

Honorable mentions went to sophomore attacker Nickey Hale (13 goals) and frosh attacker Savannah Ortiz (20 goals). 

PCC head coach Terry Stoddard completed his 23rd season directing the Lancers women's water polo program.
