In a year in which only a few runners competed, the Pasadena City College women's cross country season ended Friday with lone runner Amanda Noriega placing 37th out of 56 total runners at the South Coast Conference Championships held Friday at Don Knabe Community Regional Park in Cerritos.
Pasadena City College's Julia Reyes placed 33rd out of 97 runners at the Brubaker Invitational meet held Friday at Irvine Regional Park. The Lancers did not place as a team with two runners in action.
It's been a trying 2018 season for the Pasadena City College women's cross country team thus far. Due to eligibility and injuries, the Lancers had only two runners available for their September 7 meet at the Palomar Invitational. On Saturday at the 28-team, SoCal Preview Meet held at Cerritos College, PCC decided to not enter the race.
Although there are seven runners so far listed on the 2018 Pasadena City College women's cross country roster, only one--Amanda Noriega--represented the Lancers Friday at the season-opening Ventura Invitational held at Arroyo Verde Park.
