A multi-sport star at PHS, Carol Fletcher burst on to the national scene as the youngest member of the 1924 U.S. Olympic Team at just age 17. After winning the National AAU 3-meter diving championship, she earned the bronze medal in the springboard event at the 1924 Olympic Games in Paris, France.
*Fletcher attended Pasadena High only when the campus was part of then Pasadena Junior College.
