An All-Conference athlete in four sports at PCC, Lori Jepsen is the most successful women's volleyball player in Lancers history as she was a pre-Title IX performer. Among her accomplishments while at PCC was achieving All-American status in volleyball, being named league MVP as a center in basketball, and participating on a state champion medley relay squad in swimming. Jepsen took her talents to USC and played on the Trojans 1976 AIAW national champion team. Jepsen returned to PCC and became a long-time women's volleyball head coach for 24 years, directing the Lancers to 369 victories and a program-best third place finish at the 1995 state tournament and two other fifth place state finishes. She coached another 10 years at Division III Lewis & Clark College in Oregon. Jepsen was inducted into the CCCWVCA Hall of Fame in 2008.
