MayBelle Reichardt lettered in six sports at PHS and later became a member of the first U.S. Olympic women's track and field team. In the 1928 Olympic Games in Amsterdam, she placed fourth in the discus throw, just missing out on a bronze medal. Twice a U.S. National champion, she held the American discus record from 1928-1932 of 116 feet, 9.25 inches. She was a member on the very first National AAU women's basketball team. Besides track and basketball, MayBelle competed in track and field, field hockey, softball, soccer and wall climbing while at PHS.
*--Reichardt attended Pasadena High only when the campus was part of then Pasadena Junior College.
