A member of the inaugural PCC Sports Hall of Fame Class of 1961, Bob Johnson set a school record for pitching wins in one season as he went 10-1 as the southpaw ace of the 1948 PJC baseball team. Johnson's pitching propelled the Bulldogs to the '48 conference crown. He went on to attend Santa Barbara State College (Now UC Santa Barbara) and set a then school record for wins in a season with 11 in 1950, also helping that team win a conference title.
