PASADENA, CA — Pasadena City College Football continues its tradition of developing student-athletes for the next level, with 20 members of the 2025 squad committing or transferring to four-year colleges and universities across the country.

Pasadena City College announced it has added women's flag football as an "emerging sport" and named Charles Oakley as head coach beginning with a Lancers club team competing in the 2027 spring season. Women's flag football is scheduled to become an official intercollegiate sport at the 3C2A level for the 2027-2028 sports year.
Pasadena City College men's track and field sprinter Quishawn Stanford raced to first place in the 400-meter hurdles at the Southern California Prelims on May 2 at Bakersfield College's Memorial Stadium. Stanford and teammate Anthony Pequeno both qualified for two events for the SoCal Championships next Saturday, May 9 at Bakersfield.
