Allyn begins his fourth season on the PCC baseball assistant coaching staff. He was the team's third base coach last year.

Allyn was a 2-time, All-NAIA Region selection, helping Azusa Pacific University win Golden State Athletic Conference titles in 1992 and 1993. He led the Cougars in eight offensive categories, belting a team-high 11 home runs as a senior. 

He is also a product of community college baseball as he played his first two collegiate seasons at El Camino College.
