Football Places 6 On All-SCFA National Northern League Team

Sophomore linebacker Terry Wilson made First Team and five other Lancers were selected Second Team as Pasadena City College football players were recognized on the 2015 All-SCFA National Northern League Team. 

Wilson (pictured), from Muir High, made 47 tackles with 2.5 sacks and two recovered fumbles.

Making Second Team was letterman linebacker Jalyn Williams (Cathedral High), who was second in the state in solo tackles with 61, and led the team in overall tackles (105) plus 12 quarterback hurries, three pass break-ups and two fumble recoveries. 

Other Second Team selections were:

Jett Even, freshman quarterback, who passed for 2,019 yards and 17 touchdowns in eight starts. Even is from Tigard High, Oregon. 

Sophomore wide receiver Ricky Blair (Los Altos High), who caught a team-best 46 passes for 629 yards, a 13.7 yards per catch average and a team-high eight touchdowns. 

Freddie Barnes, a sophomore offensive and defensive lineman, a two-way player who participated in a majority of downs on both sides of the ball. Barnes is from Pasadena High. 

Trensten Spragling, freshman running back, who was seventh in the state in kick return yards average (28.7) in 26 attempts. Spragling (Kapolei, Hawaii) added 20 receptions for 133 yards and rushed for 274 yards with a team-best 3.9 yards per carry (70 attempts).
