Led by defensive linemen Carlos Ramirez and Michelangelo Loretto, five Pasadena City College players were named to the 2022 All-State Region IV Football Team.

A tackle, Ramirez (Muir High) is a 2-time, All-SCFA American Mountain League selection who made 46 tackles, a team-high 11 sacks (sixth in the state), and three QB hurries. His 16.5 tackles for loss is eighth best in California. In his career, Ramirez  totaled 16.5 sacks and 27.5 of his 83 tackles were made behind the line of scrimmage. He added 11 quarterback hurries, a team-high eight as a freshman.

At defensive end, Loretto (Arcadia High) amassed 44 tackles, 8.5 sacks, three hurries, two fumble recoveries and an interception. Loretto was the model of consistency for the Lancers over his two seasons in making 88 tackles (44 each year), 15 sacks, eight QB hurries, three forced fumbles, two interceptions and three pass breakups. Like Ramirez, he also was a 2-time, All-SCFA selection.

Safety Osvaldo Raigosa (Gabrielino High) led the 2022 Lancers in overall tackles (58) and solos (38) with two interceptions, two breakups and a sack. In his career, the twice All-SCFA chosen defensive back totaled seven interceptions, seven pass breakups, 71 tackles and two fumble recoveries.

Freshman offensive tackle Guadalupe Cedillo (6-4, 320 pounds, Arleta HS) became a force at right tackle for the Lancers as they established a strong rushing attack at 130.3 yards per contest, 17th in the SCFA. In the last three games alone, PCC's rushing attack was potent, averaging 177.3 yards with the team's top three running games occurring in each of those last three contests.

At all-purpose, letterman slot receiver Ivan Ostry (from La Canada High) led the entire SCFA in kick return yards average at 30.2 yards per return (second in the state), including running back touchdowns in consecutive weeks. He led PCC in a number of categories, including most receptions with 30 for 377 yards. He tied for the team lead in touchdowns with six, scoring on two kick returns, two runs and two receptions. He averaged 108.1 all-purpose yards per game, ninth in the SCFA. Twice, Ostry was a SCFA Special Teams Player of the Week this past season.

The five All-State players were guided by PCC Director of Football Operations/Head Coach Robert Tucker.
