Sophomore guard Shant Chenorhavorian scored his season high of 22 points and also led his squad with eight rebounds and eight assists as the Pasadena City College men's basketball team won its fourth in five games in defeating host Los Angeles Harbor, 78-67, on Wednesday night.

Chenorhavorian knocked in five 3-pointers and was 5-for-5 from the free throw line. The Lancers have won nine of their past 12 games and have upped their overall record to 10-7.

PCC led 33-25 by halftime before the Seahawks (5-12) closed the gap a number of times in the second half. LAHC cut it to 61-58 on a Chase Nelson layup with 3:39 remaining.

Dylan Swillis went to work at that point as the freshman made nine consecutive points over the next two minutes, including four layups that extended the Pasadena lead to 72-63. Chenorhavorian swished four free throws in the last minute to ice the victory.

Swillis was 9-for-12 from the floor to score 19 points while Myles Watkins contributed 19 points and four assists. Deen Abdur-Rahmann chipped in 11 points and Jalen Vazquez tallied seven points, seven assists, five rebounds and three steals.

Marcus Calcote scored 24 points to pace LA Harbor.

The Lancers are now 9-2 in South Coast Conference Crossover games against the South Division. They look to add to that mark on Friday, Jan. 19 with a 5 p.m. home tip-off v. Compton College.
