Two More PCC Men's Soccer Players Transfer To Next Level

Christian Ibarra, a midfielder who appeared in 21 games for the 2019 Pasadena City College men's soccer team, and Cesar Flores-Bravo, a defender from the 2018 Lancers, have made their 4-year university choices.

Ibarra, who transferred to PCC after playing his freshman season at Rio Hondo College in 2018, is headed to NCAA Division III University of La Verne. Ibarra played his prep soccer locally at St. Francis High. His only point was assisting on the game-winning goal in a 2-1 win v. Norco on Sept. 17 of last season. He started in five games and provided solid all-around play often coming off the Lancers bench.

Flores-Bravo, from Alhambra High, is headed to NAIA Bethany College (Kansas). He started 15 games (played 17 overall) as a strong defensive player for the '18 Lancers. He will leave as a true sophomore with three years of eligibility remaining after redshirting in 2019.

Ibarra and Flores-Bravo were guided by PCC head coach Gerry Mora.
