Fifth Lancer Men's Soccer Player Signs Scholarship

Adam Ure, a 2-year letterman as a defender, became the fifth player from the 2019 Pasadena City College men's soccer team to make a 4-year university commitment. Ure is headed to NCAA Division II Dominican University of California, located in San Rafael (near San Francisco).

Ure started 10 of 19 games this past season and added two assists on offense. Ure played on just the third PCC team in the last 15 years to reach 10 wins and finish above .500 under Lancers head coach Gerry Mora.

A product of Cleveland High and from Sherman Oaks, Ure helped PCC finish in fifth place in the South Coast Conference race with a 10-8-4 overall record. The Lancers closed the season on a 5-game undefeated streak (3-0-2), including a win and a tie v. second-place Cerritos College.

Ure will play under head coach David Frank for the Dominican Penguins, a member of the PacWest Conference.
