The state #18-ranked Pasadena City College men's soccer team didn't let the long drive to Santa Maria cool its energy and won its fourth consecutive game, 3-1, at Allan Hancock College on Tuesday.
Angel Ballesteros connected on a goal in the 11th minute, then Jordy Aviles set up two second-half goals, one by Angel Nolasco in the 57th minute and again to Diego Lazo in the 77th minute. Ballesteros and Lazo are tied for team lead in goals with six each.
The Lancers and goalie Rayshon Robert had their shutout streak end at 353 minutes when AHC scored with seven minutes left. Robert made four saves.
PCC hosts Bakersfield in a 3 p.m. non-conference match on Friday, Oct. 4 with a 3 p.m. kickoff at Robinson Stadium.
