Double Dual Individual Results v. Cerritos, Long Beach

The squad of Michael Petersen, Javier Becerra, Evan Yi, and Nick Padilla won the 200-yard medley relay race as one of six event victories captured by the Pasadena CIty College men's swim team at a South Coast Conference double dual meet held at Long Beach City College on March 21.

The relay took first place in a time of 1:46.26 to edge out LBCC's four by just .06 of a second. 

Petersen continued his fine sophomore season as he won three events, placing first in the 100 breaststroke (59.63), the 50 freestyle (22.66) and the 100 free (49.21).

Yi scored two wins, hitting the wall ahead of everyone in the 100 butterfly (58.74) and the 200 backstroke (2:15.78).

Overall, the Lancers were defeated by Long Beach, 174-92, and lost a close one to Cerritos, 141-116. 

Directed by head coach Terry Stoddard, Pasadena (1-3 ) will close out the SCC dual meet portion of the schedule on Friday, Mar. 28 in another double dual v. Chaffey and El Camino at ECC.
