Men's Track Establishes Marks At BC Relays

Still looking for the best events for some of its athletes, the Pasadena City College men's track and field team took part in the BC Relays on Mar. 25 at Bakersfield College. Eduardo Urbina and Marcelo Ramirez each came up with a couple of strong performances

In the 1,500 meters, Urbina ran a 4:05.82, which is now 29th in the state while Ramirez placed fifth at 4:07.60 (41st in state). Ramirez won the No. 2 heat in the 800 at 2:01.29, placing sixth. Urbina won the third heat of the 800 at 2:02.02 (eighth place overall). 

Eric Bravo placed fourth in the 5,000 meters with a time of 16:25.38. Nathan-Michael Guzman was sixth in 16:36.04. 

Dominic Bustamante was ninth in the shot put and 10th in the discus (30.08 meters). 

The Lancers are coached by Innocent Egbunike, in his first season at PCC.
