The Pasadena City College men's track and field team produced a state #15 time of 3:24.33 in the 4x400 meter relay and sprinter Anthony Pequeno jumped to #14 on the state rankings in the 200 at the Pasadena Invite held at PCC's Robinson Stadium on March 21. It was the Lancers lone home meet this season.
The squad of Devin Hardy, Travon Avery, Jamir Allen, and Pequeno placed third in a race won by San Bernardino Valley (state #7). Pequeno placed second in the 400 (49.49 seconds) for 16th now in the state, but his third place in the 200 of 21.77 jetted him to #14 among California Community College racers.
The Lancers won the 4x100 relay behind Jayden Jordan, Hardy, Allen and Pequeno in 42.75, but that mark only puts them at #22 in the state listings.
Allen finished third in the 100 (11.08) and sixth in the 200 (22.25). Avery was ninth in the 400 (51.53) while Hardy took 10th in the 200 (22.94).
Teddie Wen placed second in the 3,000 at 9:40.15 and took eighth in the 1,500 at 4:23.27. Luca Augustyn was eighth and Maxime Slek 10th in the 3,000.
