An All-SoCal Region and All-South Coast Conference shortstop while at PCC, Kaylee Medrano went from playing to joining the Lancers assistant coaching staff, beginning in the 2020 season.

She will enter her fourth season and first under new head coach Audriana Gutierrez in 2024.

In 2019, Medrano batted .370 and led the team in RBI (32), home runs (three), walks (22) and on-base percentage (.511) as well as being one of the region's top middle infield defenders.
