Ashley Rivera became the third sophomore from the 2019 Pasadena City College women's soccer team to make her 4-year commitment. Rivera is joining fellow Lancer Sophia Noriega in signing with NAIA University of Antelope Valley in Lancaster.

Rivera, a two-year starter at midfielder, scored three goals and added an assist for the '19 Lancers.

Rivera played her prep soccer at Verdugo Hills High and proved to be a solid contributor in her two PCC seasons. She played for former interim PCC head coach Francisco Cantero.

This month, PCC decided to go in a new direction in hiring a new full-time head coach/instructor Terryn Soelberg, a former assistant at Santa Ana College.
