Olivia Aguilar becomes a 2-time, All-SCC First Team selection for the PCC women's soccer team.

For the second straight season, Olivia Aguilar proved her worth as a midfielder for the Pasadena City College women's soccer team as she was selected All-South Coast Conference, North Division First Team. She was one of six Lancers that were chosen All-SCC by conference coaches.

Aguilar finished her PCC career with 39 points to tie her for 16th on the school's all-time scoring list. She scored six goals and added five assists this year in a lesser role on offense due to some high-powered offensive forwards. An all-around player, Aguilar (Burroughs High, Burbank) is the first two-time, First Team conference selection from PCC since high-scoring Katy Coats in 2018-19.

Also making it to First Team were sophomore midfielder-defender Gabby Morales (Second Team last year) and letterman defender Avery Romero (Second Team in 2021). Morales (from Burroughs) led PCC with 11 assists (second in the entire SCC) and was proficient on corner kicks as well as providing solid defense all over the field.

Romero (from La Canada HS) proved to be perhaps the team's most valuable player as a center back defender as she made a bevy of goal-saving clearouts and her quick anticipation thwarted a number of opponent scoring chances. Romero and Morales were the only players to start all 21 of PCC's games this season.

Chosen All-SCC Second Team were the freshmen scoring tandem of Megan Schmidt and Isabela Guerrero and first-year goalie Christina Echeverrie

Guerrero (from Gabrielino High) led the team in scoring with 27 points on nine goals and nine assists while Schmidt (also from Burroughs) tallied 26 points in leading the team in goals with 11 (and four assists). Echeverrie, from Ramona Convent Secondary, made 103 saves, starting 14 games and playing nearly 1,300 minutes defending the Lancers goal.

The six Lancers helped PCC place third in the SCC North and fifth at the South Coast Tournament under head coach Terryn Soelberg.
