The state #3-ranked Pasadena City College women's soccer team played its entire 25-player roster in posting a 4-1, South Coast Conference road victory at Rio Hondo on Tuesday.

The Lancers upped their sparkling overall record to 10-1-1 while moving to 2-1 in conference play.

In the 23rd minute, PCC got on the board with a goal by Monique Arciniega, assisted by Delilah Vazquez. Just seven minutes later, Angely Puga made a slick move from the middle to the weak side as her pass was touched in at the far post by Samantha Shahin for a 2-0 lead.

Two minutes before halftime, the Lancers struck again as Charlie Gallardo's corner kick created a shot by Puga with Hailey Hull netting the rebound.

In the 55th minute, Ashley Vera carried it deep into Roadrunners territory and gave a perfect pass to Alexa Espinoza-Gutierrez, who tapped it in to complete PCC's scoring.

All three goalies saw action with Francesca Agliolo (first 22 minutes), Natalia Portillo (23 minutes, one save), and Layla Hoyo (45 minutes, four saves, one goal) defending the Pasadena net.

The Lancers will play at East Los Angeles College on Friday, Oct. 18 in a 1:30 SCC contest.
