
Emily Wang scored top 15 finishes in three events as the Pasadena City College women's swim team placed eighth at the Riverside City College Invitational.
Wang finished 11th in the 200-yard breaststroke (3:02.36), 13th in the 100 breaststroke (1:25.74), and 15th in the 100 individual medley (1:19.51). She was also 19th in the 200 IM (2:55.48).
The Lancers were 13th in the 200 free relay (2:12.07) behind the swimming of Wang, Jemma Wernberg, Genesis Rojas and Yahaira Martinez.
Wernberg took 20th in the 200 free (2:40.31), Martinez 24th in the 200 IM (3:23.85), and Rojas 20th in the 500 free (7:53.69).
PCC returns to South Coast Conference action on Friday, Mar. 14 in a double dual meet against East Los Angeles and Mt. San Antonio at Mt. SAC.
