
Pasadena City College competes in its lone home meet of 2025 as it hosts the Pasadena Invite this Friday, March 21 at Robinson Stadium.
The Lancers women's and men's teams expect to face at least 11 other teams committed to participating.
At the Coast Classic on March 14 at Orange Coast College, Jaylin Morgan won the 100 meters and placed second in the 200. Morgan raced a 12.70 seconds time but is not her season-best which is 12.65 (28th in state) performed at the Long Beach Invitational. In the 200, she was edged at the finish line by Long Beach's Nevaeh Lane by just .02 as she raced a 25.59 mark. The sophomore Morgan has the fourth fastest time in the state also at the LBCC event when she raced 25.22 on March 7.
Deniya Fields raced the state's sixth current fastest time in the 400 at 57.96, but settled for second place behind Orange Coast's Jasmin Trujillo, whose 56.94 is the fastest among California Community College sprinters.
Fields is now second in the state in the 800 at 2:17.55. She did not race that event at OCC.
Ireja Lauderdale was fourth in the 100 at 13.36. PCC took sixth place in the team scoring.
