Five current Pasadena City College women's volleyball team players were among the 143 student-athletes that made the 2022 CCCWVCA State All-Academic Team.

Outside hitter Reese Roper led the Lancers making the 3.50 GPA cut with a 3.93 mark for the 2022-2023 year.

She was joined on the state academic team by Emma Yogan (3.90), Ariana Pedroza (3.76), Kyley Chang (3.66) and Ashley Gilbert (3.62). 

PCC is directed by head coach Mike Terrill. 

The players will be in action this Wednesday, Oct. 18 in a 6 p.m., South Coast Conference match v. Rio Hondo at Hutto-Patterson Gymnasium.
