Women's Cross Country Duo Runs Well At SoCal Preview Meet

While the 24th place finish out of 32 teams at the SoCal Preview Meet September 16 wasn't what the Pasadena City College women's cross country team was hoping for, the Lancers established the strength of their top two runners in sophomore Franceska Millanponce and redshirt freshman Ramina Padashi Fard

Millanponce placed 33rd overall out of 244 runners with a time of 20:21.5 over the 5-kilometer course at Irvine Regional Park. Padashi Fard followed in 55th at 21:17.5.

Coach Innocent Egbunike's Lancers have seen a large break in finish after the duo with the next fastest PCC runner placing 185th in Andrea Sigala (25:57). Kandice Kwan (26:06.4) took 189th and Faviola Aguirre was 242nd (34:19).
