Although the Pasadena City College women's cross country qualified as a team, the Lancers were only able to have three healthy runners place at the Southern California Regional Championships held Nov. 3 at El Dorado East Regional Park in Long Beach.

PCC did not score as a team (need five to score) and despite a 93rd place by Kayla Ma, the Lancers were unable to qualify an individual for the 3C2A State Meet thus ending the 2023 season.

Ma raced 22 minutes, 22.5 seconds over the 5-kilometer course for Pasadena's best time. Melissa Le placed 121st (24:28.7) and Emily Dean was 152nd (29:25.5). Twenty-three teams scored and 158 runners took part overall with San Diego Mesa winning the SoCal team title.
