Former PCC Football Coach Larry Reisbig Passes Away At 77April 11, 2017Larry Reisbig, head coach of the Pasadena City College football team for three winning seasons from 1982-1984, passed away Monday at age 77. Reisbig had a legendary career at the California Community College level, coaching at both College of the Canyons and then Long Beach City College and posting a 156-81-1 record (.658 win percentage) in 23 seasons as a head coach.

Football's Daeqwan Bailey Selected All-StateDecember 15, 2016Pasadena City College football team defensive tackle Daeqwan Bailey was chosen All-California, Region IV First Team Defense. Bailey was the lone Lancer named to the All-State teams by the coach's association.

Big Catches Key Football's Rally Over Hancock, 21-17September 18, 2016Trailing visiting Allan Hancock, 17-14, the Pasadena City College football team had to march 80 yards with under four minutes to play. A diving 30-yard catch by Drevontae Armstrong put PCC into Hancock territory, then quarterback Jesse Hanckel delivered a perfect throw to a streaking Yusef Muhammad for a 29-yard touchdown that rallied the Lancers to a 21-17 triumph at Robinson Stadium. The game-winning TD came with only 1:38 left in the SCFA non-conference contest.
